Our Crowdfunder campaign has officially ended now, so this is a final “thank you” to all our supporters using this platform.
With the additional monies generated through other channels, we have raised over £280,000 in total. Amazing!

Our new website is now set up for share purchases and to take donations. Although there is still a little work and updating to do on other sections, please visit and have a look around. We welcome your feedback.
Annual General Meeting
To those of you who chose to buy shares, our next Members’ AGM is scheduled for 5 September. Invitations will be sent out shortly. If you prefer you can attend via Zoom. We are working on improving the technical side, following a few hiccups last year. However, you are welcome to attend the meeting in person at the farm. We hope to show our Members the land we are buying prior to the formal meeting. Timings and other details will be included in the AGM pack.
What’s Next?
Don’t forget that our aspiration to buy as much land at Babbinswood Farm as possible is still a reality – keeping it organic and involving the community – so fundraising continues.
Watch out for events, activities, new developments and plans on our website (currently being updated) and social media platforms. We will also be sending out periodic updates to those who have subscribed.

Our Crowdfunder Campaign is coming to an end – but that’s not the end of our story!

Just a little nudge to remind you that our Crowdfunder campaign will end on 31 July 2026.
But fear not, this is not the end, but a new beginning!
We have successfully raised enough money to buy 17.91 acres of land at Babbinswood Farm – a huge achievement and we thank you all for you support in getting us there. Our offer for this little gem has been accepted and we are just waiting for the last few legal bits to fall into place beofre the community then become owners. Wouldn’t it be great if this could happen prior to our AGM on 5 September? What a celebration we could be having!
We are now moving forward with our plans for this piece of Shropshire. Following a recent members’ survey (results will be out soon!) we will be turning this area into a multi-functional place for a farmer to continue to produce local, organic, nutritious food alongside new opportunities for the community, where they will be able to get involved in a variety of ways or just enjoy the countryside. Our priority will be to reinstate the market garden area – watch out for more information on this soon…..
Buying shares, making donations, sharing our story or supporting our events and activities has been immensely helpful. But please don’t stop!
